Looking for an excuse to go out to eat tonight? Look no further than Instock, a fabulous restaurant in Central Amsterdam near the Eastern Docklands. They are on a serious mission to reduce food waste, buy collecting surplus food from grocery stores and turning them into delicious dishes. Think blemished fruits and veg, one-day-old bread, and meat and fish leftovers that would otherwise be tossed… the creative chefs at Instock work their magic every day on whatever turns up. They have also opened up a Food Rescue Centre where other horecas can buy surplus food to scale their impact. Serving up an international menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, run don’t walk to go and rescue some food.
